Gary's 50th

Gary celebrated his 50th with style, everyone was asked to come black tie and dress for the occasion. He had all the people that meant the most to him there and everyone came to the party and looked absolutely dashing :)

Gary his brother and his three sisters had some fun in front of the camera and we even recreated a photo that was taken of them all when they were children. I have to mention Gary's wife, Joanna, who pulled off all the details and the event beautifully and still managed to fit christmas, a trip to India and coming down to KZN for the holidays, Gary is a very lucky man with not only an organized wife but a gorgeous one too :)

Happy Birthday Gary, I hope the next 50 are just as happy and lovely.

Tracy & Shelley: Married

Tracy and Shelley were married at Shalwyn in the Tala valley, it was a busy busy day of running around and getting organized, we got a little lost while on our way to get Tracy reading for some photos but had a lot of laughs in the car on the way. Shelley was cool, calm and collected for a bride and she sure stunned the crowds as she walked down the aisle. The weather could not have played its part any better for this special day and the clouds really came to the party for the photos. Thank you to Tracy and Shelley for not only letting me do your photos for the day but for also having me as a guest. I wish you all the love and happiness that several lifetimes can bring.

Sneak peeks all over the place

Im trying trying to catch up and get some blogging going on :) so please just hang in there.

I have a few pictures from some jobs I have done this year and to give you a taster of whats to come. The first two are from a lovely couple who tied the knot recently and then a couple shots from an awesome SA band that live right here in lovely KZN the Ryan Calder Band and then finially a maternity shoot with the lovely Thabs and her man, gosh we had fun :)

Genevieve's 1st Birthday

Shooo-wee has this new year snuck up on me and given me a good kick in the rear end :) I'm so behind on photos, I have been photographing up a storm and I haven't had a chance to update my blog in ages, so sorry. I would love to blame someone else or a certain someone growing inside my belly for my slackness but I know deep down I'm the only to blame :) so the next few posts will be from 2009 while I try catch up :) oh yes HAPPY NEW YEARS!!

So these next photos are from the cutest little Genevieve who turned 1 on the 20th of December, her mom Natalie throws the most amazing parties and I have only been to two of them they just get better and better. The only thing is that it rained that day and most of the activities had to be moved inside which makes it a little difficult to photograph but when ever we had a break in the weather we all piled outside and sang happy birthday and cut the cake and jumped on the jumping castle, well there were only two die hard jumping castle fans as it was wet but boys being boys they don't care :). Everyone still had an fantastic time and Genevieve was in her element :)
